This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

great work so far mate - well done.

one slight thing I don`t like about the site is the shop area being crammed into that small box, but that really is the only thing I can find wrong with it.

Hi Si

Hows it going dude? thanks for registering for updates.

Yeah I will do a making of, for definite, as I want to do it as well. I may link a video to the site or do just a step by step in still images, like you say its just time...

there are 3 pages on the go atm which Im aiming for release next week fingers crossed, as theres a fair bit of comping work to do again, (which Im loving of course, the 3d is really minimal). I'll put a bulletin on the blog anyway, but you guys that have registered will be the first to see it anyway so...

Cheers
Jay

Hi Jay,

Yeah things are good, just rewritten my script for a short and will be moving onto detailed storyboards next user added image

The tutorial stuff sounds cool. You never know, it might turn into 'an example of how to produce a whole comic' tutorial one day (although I'm sure that such a thing would be huge!).

Looking forward to watching the story unfold user added image

Hey Si

cool stuff dude, I look forward to seeing it.

Im looking forward to getting it done so you can ALL see the ins and outs of the story unfold, theres some interesting stuff not, just 'wham bam thats a nice render', but more about the characters. Its been a slow week and a half getting the next page done, and a bit frustrating, I wasnt well for a few days, then stuff wasnt rendering right, and right now Im comping and painting new stuff in the backgrounds so its all chaos here but now its good chaos!! From next week I'll have a renderfarm at my disposal, so that will help speed things along a fair bit. So I can ease back a bit and not watch paint dry!! LOL

cheers

Absolutly awesome compositions. I really like the new character and I don't know the first thing about him yet. The plot thickens.
