skinning challenge??

ok im actually freaking out! I cannot get to grips with skinning my character.

Painting wiehgts isnt working well. Is there any1 kind enough to take on the file and post it back. Your welcome to the rig after obviously.

I dont expect all the bones in the face smoothed i dont mind doing that,...the major issue im having is the legs.

Pix,

Where did you get your IK rig. I am having a real hard time getting it to function properly. Like I said in the other post, when I bound the skin with less influcences, the skin didn't seem to have nearly the problems.

However, I am really struggling with your IK rig. When I just screw around with the bones, the mesh seems to follow relatively ok.

There is an IK rig that comes with Maya. I have used it before very succesfully. You can delete some of the unneeded nodes.

I just realised. What do you mean you're having a hard time? I made the rig myself.

If you select the hand attr control (like in the picture) you will see that there is an IK_FK_Blend option. 0 is IK mode, and value of 10 is FK mode.
