motion blur

is it possible to fake motion blur on a still objectif so how do you do it the documentation isnt exactly clear

It would be much simpler to do something like this in post, you could try copy the layer with the image you wanted a couple of times and use some blur tools (depends what post package you have really).

im seeing photoshop has motion blur ill try get some tuts on it

Render out a motion vector pass (floating point) and use that to apply a blur in post.
