Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

i love the material you attached to it. makes him look like a bronze statue

love the design on the front of his pelvis

nice work on the front pipes

what tablet do you use?

that's a "Ch" pronounced as a "K"

Computer skills I should have:
Objective C, C#, Java, MEL. Python, C++, XML, JavaScript, XSLT, HTML, SQL, CSS, FXScript, Clips, SOAR, ActionScript, OpenGL, DirectX
Maya, XSI, Photoshop, AfterEffects, Motion, Illustrator, Flash, Swift3D

thanks for the comments gys...

Chirone i use a wacom tablet which is very good its the best ive used so far..

hammer.horror: (this is the first finished version of this tutorial that i've seen!) I could relate to that... I finished the model in maya age's ago but just only recently detailed the thing in zbrush

bigtommyb. I intend to texture the thing but still tring to get my head around zbrush. Texturing in zbrush looks like good fun. I kinda like the idea of the steampunk will give a try... any more ideals will be welcomed
