Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Maya's Boolean Tool VS Lightwave's Drill Tool

Yo!

I would like to know the difference between Maya's Boolean Tool and Lightwave's Drill Tool.

I don't know much about Lightwave but I know this,
both operations can make holes on the surface with Maya's Boolean>Difference and Lightwave's Tools>Drill>Stencil.

But in this case I know that Maya's Boolean operation will produce an N-gon on the surface which I don't like, will Lightwave's Drill operation also produce the same effect? Or will it produce better results than Mayas?

If anyone can help,
Thanks!
