Been a few days..... but heres a update. Still not sure if ill have time to texture him yet might wait till i get my maya 4.5 then change him into nurbs for painting.. Going to do a nice environment for him.

It's coming along, Kurt... I don't really care too much for that skin texture, though. It looks like one of those downloaded skin shaders from highend or something. Looks too banded to me. Of course, this is a fantasy character, so who's to say it's wrong? I think you'd get better results making one yourself, though. user added image

Ok Mike i tried to build my own but the viens are not as cool, but I see what you where saying about the amount or rings. I also toned down the pinks and reds..

looking nice but i checked out the cgchallenge website your upagainst some good work theres some great stuff there but yours is the best user added image
cgchallenge homepage worth a look if anyone hasn't seen it

Still playinfg around... Skin is much better now. I also poked some holes in his cap and shirt. Will start on the set this weekand...I have to get some animation done that i've be negelting....
