Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Looks nice.

Only a suggestion........
I think your floor is illuminated too much for the flame torches that are in the room. Needs to be dimmer, drop the lighting back a bit, and turn on glow for the flames, it will then illuminate the walls behind the flames to give a more realistic look. Hopefully should give a bit moor mood to your scene.

I like odd numbers for your flames around the room. Your sword is my favourite. user added image

I'd just like to say how much i love the sword and the general idea, though a high-res pic would be the only real way of displaying the weapons i can think of, besides an anim.

My best ideas come to me while in bed!

the slider is only disabled, because you map a texture to that value - right click on the glow, "break connection" - and then you can adjust the slider yourself - if you want the glow equally on the material of the thing. if you dont want to have the glow equal, you need to higher the overall intensity of the texture you laid on the glow value.
