Pocket Watch

This is the pocket watch I am doing for my major assignment in my 'Introduction to Maya' module at Uni. We have to make a real life object (most people are doing vehicles... Well, everyone but me is doing a vehicle...) and then super-impose it into a real picture. Still got to figure out what it is exactly my background image will be but atleast my watch is getting there...

Not the textures it will have on it, just mental ray presets for colour reference.

Yeah, that's not the background it's going in. It'll be put into a scene using the "Use Background" shader.

Hey, i think you ought to correct the white balance on that photo or match the yellow tones in the render/comp.

On a different monitor now, I definitely see what you mean. Will have to attack it in PS more. My monitor at home is an old CRT and is slowly dying...
