Can YOU succeed as a 3D animator???

If you where given maya unlimited and $15,000 could you succeed as a 3d modeler/animator? on your own...

Without a will to learn and a mind of creativity, you would be nothing.

Here's another point of view...from my perspective..

If you were a white belt, and given a karate school to run, and $15,000, could you succeed?

Basically, you can succeed at anything with enough time, patience, persistence, and guts....

You just have to WANT it bad enough...

I agree with Nem there is nothing like human interaction for learning something like Maya. Speaking from personal experience I think that the feedback and information I get from the people on this site alone is worth more than any book I could read on the subject. I think this is especially true for this group because there are a number of experienced modelers who do more than their fare share of helping a Noobies Maya experience be as painless as possible.
