modeling a hobbit hole

Does anyone know how I would approach modeling a hobbit hole? More specifically the rounded top/hill....and then making the doors and windows seamlessly fit into that?

You could do this a hundred ways but I would start with the door and work outwards making sure all the geometry fits nicely around the door and wall and then shape the hill over the geometry. I would use a polygonal approach..
