Time is running out

Thanks everybody!

The helmet was made with nurbs and converted to polys.
The plan was to texture it with some exiting stuff, but I have to see about that later.

A possible final pose

Yes, I think this is a quite interesting pose.

The point here is off course a big snake twining itself up his arm. It is not shown here but it'll come.

I tried sub-d, but it was soo strange, so I went back to pulling vertices and smooth'em.

:p

You may find his stance a bit off, but it makes sence when he is pulling his snake...

I know how to make hands, but the arms are a tough one.

Wow undseth, your boomin through this user added image.... dont worry about his stance... my master in Tae Kwon Do a few years back.. used to be able to go in a sitting position without a chair! Back totally straight.. legs bent.... i dont know how the laws of gravity allowed it!... I guess it wasnt 100% perfect seating position.. but hella good balance! Hidalgo, can you relate?

This is undseth

I think i can i think i can i think i can... "chugga chugga chugga"... the little train that could! Just hes not going.. "chugga chugga chugga"... hes going..... "VROOOOOOOOM". The cheeta is going... WHAT WAS THAT. user added image... keep it up undseth... this is awesome.

hehe

I made him some beard... and some beard around his head too...

Well, moving along to other issues.

I used bump, transparancy, and tried some kind of specular map, but the last thing didn't work it seems.

Hi Undseth,

it is looking great... user added image

how about e.g. giving him some more muscles around the chest... e.g. so it looks like the shirt is about to go bananas...

and maybe giving him a little more angry look... like if Loki has stolen his breakfast... user added image

and then maybe some heavy lightning from the hammer... or an light beginging towards a lightning stroke from it...

and in the pose that he is leaning a bit more forward, 2 give it a bit movement, like he is in the middle of grilling someone with that hammer... user added image

just some ideas...

regards

Strarup

I like the head very much.

I would add a little more thickness to the helmet. It looks a little thin where it meets the hairline. The design of the helmet is great!
