Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

How to stop particle mid animation

Hey,
So I have a short animation where a waterfall rains down on a logo. I have the waterfall all set up to start on frame 50 but I need the waterfall to stop around frame 170 before I can change the particles into polygons and add an aistandardsurface material to it.

Is there a way to use MEL Scripting code to have the waterfall gradually stop at frame 170?

I need to use code for my assignment but I can't find any tutorials on coding for particles.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
