Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

the general appereance is good!

the cup seems a bit to small compared with the fruits

and also the "edge" between the table and the wall.... hmm... perhaps a blur would help there out

I agree, plus the top of the apple seems a little to "flat" along the horizontal...try messing with the verts to break that "cg" givaway look a bit.

Also the bump on the orange is a little extreme.

Try a Bump2D depth setting of .25 or so, and go up from thereuser added image

Otherwise, NICE render!

The reflection on the ground is way too high IMO..

The texture on the wall doesnt really seem to fit the general environment.

Theres something with the spots on the apple.. they seem too regular or ... I dunno..

The proportions of the objects are wrong. Oranges are normally larger than apples.

It looks excellent, the shadows however appear a bit too soft...

I agree with the rest, expecially the blurred background. It adds a lot. Yes and definatly enlarge the cup alittle. You also might want to try and improve the coffee. Its the shader from Highend right? Maybe add some particles to it.

Add a simple bump map with some dents and scratches on the apple!

here is an example. This one has lots of scratches though, its for more like metal

also, you might wanna have the camera looking more down at the table, that coffe would look better from above i'm sure
