Pure_Morning

Thanks mate... The texturing if I have time will most likey be painted in MAYA 3d paint tool, than brought into photoshop for detailing.

Laying her UV's out might be a pain... still trying to think of the best way to go about it.

I will hopefully start a freelance job in the next few days so choppers will be put on hold for a bit....

I have so many things on the go I really should slow down....

Thanks again for your comments.... glad you like her.

Started the back feet, still have to add the retracting claw but wanted to get the proportions right before I added main claw.

Hey, Kurt.

Awesome model you´ve got going on.
Since you´re still getting everything right before going at the claws, I´d say you have to check the length of the tail, also I remember reading about them some years ago, and their tails were quite stiff, not as prehensile as an ape´s one would be.

I´ve got to say it, the zone around the eye, es top-notch modelling, really incredible, wonder if you´re working on polys or still on NURBS.

Regards man,

That looks certainly better!

Did you check the second link? It has a small yet very helpfull diagram on the size of the claw which might be helpfull to you. As a matter of fact, the meat around the claw is looking fairly better, but it enlarge the sickle claw itself a bit. (That´s what I meant in the other post)

Please do say if so much commenting bothers ya mate, I have a bad habit about it.

Here it is again:

**EDIT** Whoa, excellent information on the site, seems almost all Deinonychosauria had feathers. They´ve even found some feathers evidence on one of the species. This is most certainly interesting. Had a lot of time without reading about Dinosaurs.
