Here is my low poly model. Ready for rigging. How do I let my low poly model drive my smooth model. Ive seen it done before, but Im not sure where.

I have tried about a hundred times to rig my monkey man up, with no luck. I cant get him to work at all. Ill do that last I guess. I think Ill try my luck at texturing. Maybe I wont screw it up so bad.

Try Mike's tut - while I am always pimping it, it is with good reason user added image It should enable you to rig the monkey; I had never rigged anything before I followed it.

Yea, Ive noticed your pimping of mikes char rig tut. I dont know if I am gonna get it or not. I think Ill just give in and get it.

Ok, In order to finish this on time Im going to wait on rigging. Im going to use very simple textures, and the scene is going to be very simple. I will make a little boy that is frightened of the monkey and his launcher.

Ok, here is the frightened boy's face. I made it very quickly. It turns out I have a nack for making cartoony faces like this. Now for the body, my worst nightmare.

No reason a child cannot be kept as a pet. My parents often used to refer to myself an my siblings as zoo animals user added image
