This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
the most striking thing to me at the moment is obviously the seam in the middle but I assume your on top of that one
It's a really good start I like the detail you've got on the eyebrows that looks great (and better than I've seen on some higher res models! )
I'm not 100% on the face proportions I know you are going for a different look and not normally proportioned, maybe if you put more of a crease between where the bottom of the nose meets the cheek it mite make it sit better.
like it alot! I think the shape you had one the first was better for a mad scientist.. long and skinny, then you could leave him bald and give him thick glasses... maybe really crazy eyes or none at all! just squinty eyes. you would have to have the long lab coat too .
the second one looks more like he could be a baker... with a bushy mustache
I think they bulge a bit, perhaps recess them back into the head a little bit. Also they are pretty firm, whereas the ref. pics show the lower eyelids baggy and relaxed.
