pseudo-domain?

doh, i was thinking of making my prtfolio site and i have a question...

i have 50 mb of webpage storage provided at no aditional cost by my isp but the direction is a bit weird... i tought i saw one day a free service that gave you a domain name kinda "http:\\yourdomain.wathever" that whenever someone wrote it he was redirected to your rather wird page name.

But now i cant find it...

someone can help me with it?

I don't know a free service that does this however if you register a domain name (around 13 bux a year) most providers include some type of re-direction service.

yep i know the redirection of domain names but the thing i was talking about is not exactly a domain
It was not "http:\\www.domainname.XXX" it was "http:\\XXXXXX.YYYYYYY" and it redirects, and i saw it for free (thats what i like more about the whole thinguser added image)

I think my ISP doesnt includes a domain in the deal, right now it gives me a thing like
"http:\\www.ISP.com\users\myname"
with 50mb storage plus three mail accounts
and essentially i was looking for a way to make it easyer to go/remember (without paying em a buck more, its expensive enough as it is...)

how about "https://MyArtComing.2ya.com"

Go to 2ya.com and look at all the posible extentions. So some one goes to 4ya.2ya.com and all it does if masks https://ISP.com/users/~4ya/ No redirecting involved, just frames.

Try it.

btw: a domain may cost 13 bux a year, but you have to pay for hosting. And you can not hook a domain up to your free acount on your ISP. My domain name was free, although the hosting cost $108.

But then again, its the kick ass domain hosting of the century! LOL.

I know you can get "www.yourdomain.tk" for free as i used to have one but i can't remeber what the site was. You can try searching for "dot tk". Don't think that helped.
