Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

XenoDude | Alien Proyect

I´m going to take it easy on this model, as I don´t want to get discouraged early on.

To those who still remember that tournament, I began a model based on H.R. Giger´s Alien creature design. Sadly, I had to resign the battle and left the model as it were.

Now I want to use it as my test model, and as such, I will try to test whatever technique comes on my mind with it. I´m rebuilding it too.

This thread will be the depository thread of all these tests.
I intend to use it to battle Vectorman on an animation battle later on.

I believe I will start* modelling after concept working basing myself on SUBDs. I like very much Kurt´s technique in the Dragon tutorial, so I think I will go that way.

I intend to research normal mapping during the process.

I pretty much suppose the model will be done (textured and all) in about three or four months. Not actually a priority in my schedule, so I´m going to take it very easy.
