Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Witchy m8!

I love your ideas. I think I especially love the idea of the ringwraiths in panzers user added image Or indeed flying around on doodle bugs and lounging around in U.S. jeeps.

I will look forward to your finished work!

LOL thanks.

Hitler?! Lord there was something I had not thought of. Not intentional on my part if it does, not my sort of thing to model Hitler as a hobbit I am afraid. In the light of that I think I shall start again and do something different or simply not bother as I find that absolutely repulsive and if that is all people can associate with any war theme then I don't think it is something |I want to do. I don't see the resemblance myself, but there we are.

I don't see any resemblance of Hitler in that character. And obviously people can associate with other things with war themes, especially a 'nam theme (though war in general is horrible, joking about past ones aren't imho).

My deepest apologies Witchy. By no means did I intend to invoke negativity with my comment. Quite the opposite; was just supporting your work by posting on your thread. Shall be more mindful about being subjective in the future. I like your work and look forward to seeing the finished project.

No it's fine I always appreciate comments on my stuff, I am just rethinking it now as I have rather gone off the idea in the light of that.

But your criticisms and things are always appreciated Ice Queen so please don't think they are not.

Well I am starting over, with a new idea; Ghostbusters (sci fi cult comedy genre wise) - rather fancy a ghostbuster proton powered bow. New head to show for starters, do i need a thread name change?

cool idea. user added image One big thing I'd do is have the front of the ear merge more into the head.

Looking forward to it.

Thanks for changing the thread title.

Very good point about the ear, I was wondering what was weird about it where it was joined on; hope this looks a bit better. Thanks.
