that was a serious question btw.

unfortunatly eagle this is a seperate venture...and as we are laying out a lot of money for the initial publishing then we will need to seperate it from lifetime membership

ok sounds like a great idea, my only concern is that £4 is a little expensive for a 34 page mag, I'm not complaining though dont get me wrong it's sounds like a great idea and should really boost SM's profile. Speaking of which is anyone gonig to 3december to help promote SM? it's free and it would be a great way to recruit some members.... user added image

see the trouble is Alan that it would be fine if we was going to publish 20,000 of the things and sell from whsmith etc ... at that many we would get for a LOT less then we would at only getting 5000 first run.

I cant take the chance and get more then 5000 incase it all goes wrong. If all goes well and it is a hit then sure either more pages are added or we look into the pricing aging, but then again alan have a think about the mags out there now..

Sure they are 80 pages, but 40 of them are centre spreads of Advertisment!

am I right or am I right?

The most I would have is 2 pages of advertisment - and if we did get advertisment of any kind then the price would be better user added image

I think the price is fine for what you will be getting. You can count me in. Have you thought about hooking up with those companies that hand out magazine offers to school kids who then turn around to sell them to everyone under the sun? That would be a good way to get your magazine out to the public and let them know about it. Also, I would be willing to place an advertisement on Darkware3d.com if you want. Not that many people go there, but hey you might get some customers. Basically though, if you're wanting to sell 5,000 copies, you seriously need to figure out a way to advertise or something.
