Bender - character

This is my first character done in maya.

So I decided to go with something pretty basic. Well, why not do Bender from Futurama? Yez that will work, nothing to impossible going on there, pretty simple shapes and so on.

Alright here it is (probably need some more tweaking before it's done)

Well, not bad, especially for a first character!

Try to put some Joints in there and learn how to rig.

Tnx, well I have mostley done background modeling before (also at a pretty basic stadium, but one gotta start somewhere).

Yeay I will probably do that, and this character has a rather good set up for rigging. Hmm I better start reading some tuturiols about animations then.

The set up is not all too well, but you´ll see where the difficulties will be - e.g. the arms - No edge loops at all, etc - You have to tweak a few things, but you'll do it!

Hey, I can recommend Learning Maya Character Rigging and Animation - great Book!
