Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
The only thing that jumps out at me is the depth of the back of the head. It goes a long way back. Even a heavily muscular guy probably wouldnt have that much mass at the back of the head.
vim, do you have the full version or the trial version of zbrush 2. Cuz, if you have the trial, I need to know how to get a Maya mesh to and from there.
I read a thread at cgtalk.com where someone did that with the trial version... and I want to!
In max is the same way with the trial version of zBrush. U'd have to export it to a .obj first then import as that in zbrush. I've done it in maya like that once so it shuold work. Thou, u'd have to enable the .obj export plugin in Maya first. Can't remember how that is done ...
