Thanks user added image Remember there will be 3 heads.. thats why the neck is that long, theres not a lot of space.

Is that sub-d or smoothed poly? If it poly i'd love to see an unsmoothed image.

your work honors your name...
are you working from a sketch you made?

Alexgc : Yeah she is still having contractions, Sigh.. and today is my birthday, so I bet it will happen today - just to make all the birthdays in the family be on the same day! .. My wifes sisters youngest kid is having birthday today too - damn busy day .. hehehe.

z1mmnd14 : I am using CPS to model it with. or call it smooth proxy.. on one of the earlier pages theres a screenshot from within Maya.

Axel: I only sketched the head, and have used reference images from a dog to build the body - and modified the shape a little to get the "puma like" look. - the head sketch is on one of the earlier pages in this thread.

Take care all ..

Hello, Caligraphics

Your model looks very good as is, however I believe you can enhance it, if you take into account the following:
  • The neck of the creature -If puma-like- could be a little shorter perhaps? If it were a real hell hound -lol-, he would have almost always neck pain, as his back muscles would be straining to keep that neck as is. (Even if he did have three heads)
  • Maybe the legs can be a little longer? -look at enclosed pic for reference-
  • And lastly, the current configuration for the back feet -as can be seen in reference pic- is backwards. I understand you made the model after a dog pic, however all quadrupeds share this reverse front-back feet configuration. Hope this one isn´t so difficult to correct, as this fact is the thing that first sprung up on me when I saw the render.
I´ve enclosed your pic superimposed with a Hellcat skeleton I drew when I first started thinking in the challenge. This way you can understand better what I told you above.
Feel free to use it at your discretion.

Hope these comments help bud,

By the way, congrats on the baby wip ... hope he renders quickly user added image
