Renderman

I didn't know were to post this so I posted in the Maya section because im wondering if the maya/renderman team produce good results? Not so much Maya but how well does Renderman work with Maya? What are some pros and cons?

Do you like the way Pixar movies look? well there is your answer as to how good the combo is between the two user added image

about pros and cons.. I've heard Renderan has a very complicated side on Programming Shaders and all so I have no idea how it would be like

Renderman rules!! There is some kind of plug in for new one and you dont need to type ewery comand like before, now you have interfase and work like with other maya renderer, there are some realy net options with calculating lights (250 of them) once and every other time you render, render time is completly normal like you have one light, and calculating for first time last for abouth 20 min on Athlon 2500 with 512 DDR!!!! Wery nice software i would like to say but its litle tuf to get used on ith and learn it from scratch!!!


Best resolt would come, if every one in the group are doing what is best for himself and the group!!
