Help! What TV system is it in UK?

What TV system is it in UK? I believe it's PAL but which variation? Why do I ask? Because I need to know if a telly purchased in the UK works here in Finland...

(Someone told me that the picture is transferred in the same frequency but the sound might be a different story...)

it is PAL, but i think there are 3 versions of PAL...and i dont know which one the UK use user added image

I just found out that in the UK it's PAL I while in Finland (and most of the europe) it's just PAL. What is the difference... I don't know... anyone?
