Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

DXF removed from maya 7.01

Autodesk removed DXF from the latest version of Maya.

I often used DXF to clean hidden nodes by exporting geometry to DXF then reimporting it back into my scene.

The release notes for the Maya 7.01 update state that it was removed because there is a third party plug-in that can used to replace it but does not indicate the name of the plug-in.

Thanks,
ram

you see, thats why i was upset about them buying maya. They chop things up and make plug-ins. just like max.
