Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Displaying planes in orthographic views.

Hi there. I am completely new to maya and i have a query.

I am trying to do the cartoon dog tutorial from this site. This involves setting up the image plane (which i have done). However, upon switching to orthographic side view to start modelling, the plane i've set up appears blank and I cannot see my image that i've assigned to it. Only the geometry I have created appears shaded. Im sure I have to switch something on but im not sure what to do at this point. Can anyone tell me what I can do?

Thanks and regards

Pallaris.
