Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

getting started

Hi all
Im getting the hang of it sort off and would like to attemp to model a head as ive got some ideas ...this is probably a lame question but which angle should i approach this from.Should i start with a Ploygon cube and use the extrude method and split poly method any guidance would be great cheers :p

that's the method that I usually go for.

My favorate is the emulated sub division method works fast and great. with few problems.
