Yes, the room is better, but did you put any DoF in there?

yeah - this is looking very nice.

I might add a touch more blue light to the hall, just so you don't lose the details in the dark. Also, I agree with funky - it would be good to tweak the pose - maybe add a bit of a lean in his upper body and some variation in the legs - just as it's looking a little stiff at the moment.

but overall this is looking great - definitely one of my favorite entries. user added image

yeah, and I think as far as the lighting goes you could add some light to the hall just so that you don't lose the shadowed form. Think something like moonlight from a window or a nightlight of some color. Also, be sure that your blue tv light emits blue light onto your character.

I think that will help it read better to the viewer.

This is really awesome, man. I think you've got a really awesome piece here user added image

Are you gonna texture this man i.e add some details to the brush, cards etc etc

Think that it would add a lot to the scene

Fantastic Job joopsoon! Might I suggest you add a small night light on the wall behind him to, giving the scene some better back lighting.

Its looking good.
Just to add more detail to him you could make some hair for him. Nothing complicated, more like this.
Keep up the good work user added image
