Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

looks good manuser added image

if you want to post multiple pics you have to upload them somewhere (like photobucket or a similar site) then use "[IMG]LINK TO PICTURE[/IMG" with one of these ] after the last IMG)user added image

Hi Guys, thank you a bunch. Here is a head shot. Can someone help me with the hair? I been trying to get the hair to showup on the poly shapes. I made a color map and a grayscale bump.

I seem to be missing something.

Thank you again.user added image

Ahh, I forgot about the jacket.user added image All I did was UV mapped the model and took a picture of my jacket laying flat. It took a little bit of time to get the logo right but, I just went for it and it seemed to come out ok..

I can see from what videotut this is from, so I guess that means you've succeeded in getting likeness from the scetches.

Yeap, This video tut is from nomeworkshop. I learned alot from it too.user added image I also learned alot from my school on how to sketch my own characters etc and model them. This is my first low-poly character though from a tut.

I did the texture on my own since I already had experience from the jedi starfighter from simplymaya. I hope to revamp my other character in maya since I gained alot of xp for this. The clown also went up really fast from the experience.

Thank you for the comments.
