This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
sweet. I really like the look you gave her. The only thing I could pick on is her hair. just doesent seem to fit but this is just a persnal opinion bud. Is her scarf cloth?
scarf is also nurbs. When I put her in tis pose, there was very big gap beetwen her arm and body, so I figure out to put something for destraction.
I realize the hair is not realistic, but I aimed for cartoon look...
I mean to some level. I used one lofted surface for face and neck, with one hole for mouth (so called mouthcentered) But, than I modeled eyes separately and used transparency maps to make edge invisible. Now I owe an explanation why I did it this way. I'm writing a book for my students on various types of modeling. So because this is the first technique I learned I thought it should be in my book )) I did the ears in the same way.
In the area between neck and dress it could be called patches model...
