delete file from lambert1

I made the stupid mistake assigning a file to the default_lambert1..

and now I can´t get rid of that file.
is there any chance to deselect the file?
- because I didn´t find out.

right click on the material's attribute that has the file mapped and choose Break Connections from the menu that opens.
