Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world

Coloured Glass

I have the .mr material for glass but i wanted to know which property to change to make the glass coloured, like for stained glass windows or fancy glasses.

I'm assuming you mean mia_material and not the dielectric :x

Thats the attribute editor for the mia_material and since you don't recognize this, I will have to ask, what material exactly are you using?

i just followed a tutorial that told me how to make it in hypershade.

Ok, but the tutorial had to tell you what material/shader to apply to your geometry. For example, blinn or lambert, phong etc.
