Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Reference Pics Help

Hi everyone,
I'm sorry if this is a completely stupid question, but I want to load orthographic images into the individual front, side etc views on my Maya screen to use as references as I'm modelling. I knew how to do this in 3DSMax, but how do I do it in Maya?

Thanks

Select the view that you want to load the pics in then go to View (in the viewport menu) imageplane -> Import image, then browse to the image you want to load and hit ok. Then repeat it for the other viewports.
