Maya 4.5 x CPS

Hi everyone,

Doesn't the Maya 4.5 come with a feature similar to the CPS?
What is teh diference btw teh subsdivs and the polygon with the smooth proxy on?

CPS gives you more control as it is afterall still polys, subds is like a mixture between nurbs and polys
there isnt all that much of a difference, the only one i can see is CPS gives you finer detail user added image

4.5 comes with a smooth proxy mode, very similar to CPS.

I didn't use CPS all that much, so i can't really say which is better.
