Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Yeah I find its a rare thing these days in most places mate, there are exceptions here and there though.

he came to me ask asked me to finish it for him. :p

heres an update. i finally got the shading to somehing i liked. i need to tweak the texture still.
especially the under the eye sections.
displacement+normal map+skin shader
