Ferrari 360

This is a Ferrari 360 rendered in Mental ray.

This is my first car model and I made this based on a Simple Maya tutorial. I did have some problems with the front lights but that was only because the awesome dude behind the tutorial didn’t really explain how he made them properly.

Hi Slay,

Thank you for the compliment, your car turned out very well, as you say the lights are the only real problem area.

Your textures could use some work however, seems like you have some massive displacement map on the wheels and the back lights are really overburned.

Keep at it

Rob

Very nice! I think the traditional color for a Ferrari is red...
Where did you get the HDRI?
And BTW, the links to imageshack are totally unnecessary...

Who cares about the colour, its personal preference.

Yeha the monster truck tyres look kinda funkey!

Few teweeks here and there to sharpen up the edges and sort out bits and bobs and it will look great.

Benny, I would prefer having the larger images loading up rarther than having to click the little image to link to the larger one.

Isn't the HDRI from some wiki contest?

@ gster123: how about having a large image loading up but keeping the link to imageshack like in this case? I'll take that in mind though.
And I don't have anything against the color. I think it looks much better then it would have with red color.
