Glass with straw

Tried to get a decent glass and fluid render in Maxwell. And here is the result.

Joopson: Haven't looked into SSS yet.

esion: It's just spheres with the same material as the fluid that I placed inside of the fluid mesh

i mean instaed of getting the shader and render to cause the to 'look' displaces in the water(false postion) or just cut the straw at the intersept point an save time on render?

Nah, it's all real. Saving time and Maxwell isn't two things that goes well together user added image

And I think that would look awful.

Looks real good man. First time I did a glass of water, I forgot about the displacement lol.

Anyway, it's very realistic and cool man.

Pretty cool how a simple glass can make for great art.
