Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

image plane problem

Hi,

Im having some problems setting up the image planes in the ninja tutorial. Ive created a plane and set the material to it, and it all looks right in the perspective view. However, in the front and side view all i get are white squares.

I dont some research on this and found out it could be a graphics card problem (i have a GeForce ti 4600) is there any way i can get around this?

Thanks

Ah, I know what you are talking about. I too have this problem. I even bought a new graphis card. (ATI Radeon X700 Pro) Although, I'm not too sure if it was a good choice. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Ah, I think I've got it. Mhcannon told me to do this in a thread I posted earlier. Set your screen size settings to 1280 x 1024. It should work now.
