This will turn your caps lock into a shift key or it does on my version of windows

Just double click to add it to the registry, you may need to reboot after.

STWERT, BUT WHAT IF I WANT TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS?? I DON'T LIKE HOLDING DOWN SHIFT SO CAPSLOCK IS GOOD.

haha.

But really, I use capslock more often that I use the shift key. even when I do "I"s, I tap the caps key once, then the I key, and then caps again. I is quick for me. And more natural.

Anyway, to each his own!

it was funny watching this cop who was interviewing me once

he had his left hand on the extreme left side of the keyboard and did everything else with his right hand
and i ddin't notice until he said 'sorry, i'm not good at typing fast' because i said i was a software developer

and then i watched him type after that....
then i mentioned how he is one of the few people i've seen who actually uses the capslock key to do a single letter in caps
and he asked me what i did and if i use the shift key, and i said yes, and then he became conscious of what he did and tried using the shift key instead user added image

twas funny.

i find i dont use the caps lock key, even when i type with one hand...

guess it's really what youre used to....
i find doing things faster if i dont have to use a mouse when my hands are at the keyboard but no one ever believes me... i'll never understand why... and that's why my efficiency drops dramaticlly when i use a mac

lol

I can't tell you how many times I have done that! What's worse I invariably set a butt load of key frames and crap and have trouble undoing the damage.

Hitting the caps lock and pressing the windows key are the two annoyances I run into a lot.

This link may help as well.

see luckily my keyboard comes with software to let me reprogram the entire thing if i want.
I.E. i can turn my caps lock key into an Undo macro key , or turn my Windows key into a ctrl+ space macro if i want, ect ect ect.
