Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Sea Creature Tutorial

A couple of near-finished poses of Kurt's Sea Creature tutorial.

Thanks Kurt. I enjoyed the tutorial. It was very imformative and was one of the first ones that I did from concept to texturing.

It really made me realize all the skill that goes into every aspect of a project. Even though my overall artistic skills are weak, I enjoy 3D modeling. It's about as close to art as I can get with my skills.

You could spend days and weeks tweaking this creature. I added a skeleton and bound the skin and started an animation, but that will be a journey all its own.

Comemnts and crits are welcome.
