This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
some guy, man your serious.., but jay is the man for that answer, there would be so many ways to do it.
my guess (and frankly it IS a guess) is to use sub-d verts (I used them ONCE on a tut so..??) at fine levels, select and crease tiny bits at a time..? small adjustments that don't throw out the wire..??
jay man that's some research, we all learnt some thing new there, for me it is incredibly interesting, like our vision blurs still images into motion at around 50 times a sec, I find that stuff amazing.
your research makes such sense when you think of it, eh? , of course standard for wide angle is 28, and a single lens is 55, sooo... we have two eyes..28 + 28 = 56 (give or take the micro measurements), very interesting, they don't teach THAT at uni... far out!
i'm still getting my head around the two perspective thing but its slowly sinking in...
just wrote a lengthy piece and the computer crashed
as I said, looks fantastic and bIG improvements have been made.
you should be proud.
slight creases are needed at the join, not now, do something else for a day or two, come back, look, take stock, don't touch it and figure how you will make those creases without changing the overall look and come back in another day and finish the job. looks great mate.
how do you feel about it now, are you comfortable with that and how it fits in to the rest of the project?
looks good to me mate, any thing more from me and I'd feel like I was nit picking you. I'll continue if you want but I hope someone else is watching because I am not a master of this, just I used to, USED to, draw! and make many mistakes too.
:attn: good stuff I personally think it looks much better, you? what do you think?
come on guys, give us a hand with this, we're both just youngin's (sort of)..
Don't stop helping Mirek, it may seem like you are 'nit-picking' because only you and Jay have really commented on the model.
Personally, the only thing bugging me now are the eyes. i am going too see if i can get them to look better. I have also decided to re-do the body to fit in with the rest of the head.
There are a few other parts that i still need to work on around the face but i am just about ready to start texturing.
