Selecting other half of nurbs model problems?

hey all, Im having a problems selectingthe other half of the control vertex in my nurbs model thru the side view, Im doing the Ninja tut and working in a one inch setting and I'm use to working in centimeters..any help would be awesome.

Fixed the problem,,had my grid scale set way to high.:blush:
