This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

best response is to say... look at the soles of your own feet. women's feet are basically the same proportion, but at the same time, they're only shorter.

as for looking at your still frames, i think the definition line for the ankle on both sides needs to come up. if you were to throw on some shoes for the positioning aspect, you'll see that your ankles are too low for regular feet. whether they be male or female, you still need a buildup for the topology in footwork. men's shoes are easier cause we don't usually deal with width or heel height, but with women's shoes you have to worry about how 'wide' you modeled the foot of each of your female models.

soooooo yea... i was totally sloshed when i posted those last few replies. don't even remember doing it.

anyway, the feet look pretty good! if there was one thing i could never really model well it's the nails... fingernails, toenails, they'd always look weird. you've done a fine job on them though (although i think on the smaller toes they look like someone's in need of a pedicure - they might be just a tad too long)

Hey Neostrider, yeah they're pretty long. I was trying to remember if chicks leave their toe nails long or not.lol But yeah I'll shrink it. You said the ankle was too low, so I moved it up. I think it does look better now.

Anyhow I'm pretty happy with it for now, if theres anything you guys see thats wrong, by all means let me know. user added image

I started on the hands now, it's actually harder than the feet so I've found out. Having a kind of hard time on the thumb so yeah...

I'll post these up for now. First the fixed feet, then the hands.

Here's an update, just returned from a camping trip.

I'm not confident about my anatomy, I'll be fixing it a lot more before I move on. More Crits and comments appreciated. user added image

Looking good Anhslaught
I think you need a little more work around the outer ankle - the front of it looks a bit too flat and too far back on the foot. Also the outer bottom edge of the foot looks too straight and a bit flat, like it has no mass and needs blowing up like a limp balloon. Either that or it needs rounding off a bit more at the heel.

Nice basic geometry to the hands.

Keep at it - definately good stuff user added image
