Increase the level

Hello.
By default, a subdivision surface displays up to three levels of detail (0, 1, and possibly 2).
We can increase the level of detail for a selected region to at most 13 levels.
How can I do this?
I tried to increase the level from the Channel box
and Attribute editor. But it was failed.
Of cause, we don't need to do this often, but I want to know the method.
Thanks.

I'm not sure, but how about right-klicking the sub-d object and choose one of the options there?

Fixed

A friend fixed the proglem.
The method is right-click the object then select refine.
Hop that it is helpful to some people who still are in trouble
by this problem.
Good luck to all the friends!
