This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
Just watched the Jackal the other day, and I thought that the sniper gun thingy was pretty sweet. So I took their idea and started modeling something like it. Here's what I got so far:
P.S. Not that the rear part is just a box model. Still need to get the modified Browning M2 in there. Atleast, it looks like a Browning M2
P.P.S. Also still need to make the camera part for the lens
I'm not really an expert, but for the basics, I usually use the extrude tool to get the basic shape right, and then add detail, but that can be done in many different ways
