Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Just curious,
Were you building a 1/32 scale Trumpeter f14-d On arcforums last year THX?

Was looking around for Reviews on Tamiya's F4 Phantom kit and also for some after market parts and came across that thread and glanced at it, then noticed the username that is verbatim for yours.

Look foward to seeing your concept as it progresses here as well, Love Blade Runner.

Sorry Mate, wasn't me on the F4 phantom. Must have been somebody using a screen name that was almost the same as mine.

Still not ready to post concept art for the Spinner yet. All I can say at the moment is that it will have a lamborghini flavor to it. I will tell a little more about it when I post the concept art.

Cheers mate!

After many hours of hunting down my scanner's power supply, I can now show some rough concept art. It's just a basic design, and doesn't show all the detail and features that it's going to have.

What I'm attempting to do is mix together a 1975 Lamborghini Countach (my favorite design ) with a L.A.P.D. Spinner. However, so as not to break any rules, the spinner will not look like a Lamborghini, but will have a Lamborguini flavor to it. Spinners have a certain style to them, so I want to keep within the style, but sweeten it up with some Lamborghini.

EDIT: Moved concept art to my first post.

OK, here are some actual WIP's. It's still pretty rough. Just started doing the windshield.

Yeah, I'm a pretty big fan. Always loved the spinner cars. Too bad they don't really exist today, because we actually have the technology to make them.

Getting some detail on it now. Got the cab and police lights on it now. Been working mostly on the door, and door frames. Have the air intakes on also. The interior will probably have the most detail, but still. I have Alot of work left to do...........

Cheers Mate! It's a 2 seater, and yes it would be very comfortable to ride in, even at the super-sonic speeds it's capable of. It also has an electric motor for ground travel. But it's most impressive feature is it's jet and anti-gravity drives. If I have time I will model the those systems for it.
