Modeling Problem

I modeled a small key, but once I converted to subd's, it looks like crap and has these little lines in it. How do I get rid of all these lines? And how do I delete object history?

that looks like its caused by an n-gon (a face with more than 4 sides). to fix this, put it back into polygon-form and fix it yourself using the split-polygon tool ^_^

hmmm... can i see a wire in ploygons?

I think you might just need to get all the faces near the center of the key(where the lines are) and just scale it down really small and make a new line where you just took it away from.

To delete the objects history just select the object, go to "edit" and scroll down to "delete på type" and hit "history".

Actually I got really pissed at it last night and deleted it. I did remodel on, but thanks for the help and concern. The key had so much vertices that it was slowing down my whole scene anyway, so it was overall better to remodel.
