OK, just wanted a few more opinions on um, being a bit of a miserable bugger i find it very distracting trying to read a post with half a dozen things flashing away on the page is it just me or...

I like having an avatar and enjoy seeing other people's avatars as well. I get slightly annoyed at some, but never enough to say anything about it or to the point of not wanting to have them.
