Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Girl - Model needed ($$$)

Hi!

I need a model of girl (nice mesh & textures). I need it for a little 3D animation project and can´t build her myself because i won´t have enough time. I am ready to pay for such a modell (lets say between $ 100 - $ 250 - $ ... ) depending on the qualitiy of the model.

ready for animations with bones would be gread.

I really need it, would be a great help!

Thanks

Train

Um... you might want to consider giving more details about your animation. I dont think your going to get many quality models with such little info. Especially if you plan to use the final product for sale and pass someone elses model off as your own.

If you are refering to dave as "jumbo" then unless you want to remove yourself from this site then be carefull otherwise we might just call you a few things that you may not like.

Ooohh. I'm dying to see what happens if he says the name of that "other" site. :p

train_ucl: $100-$200 is really cheap for a fully rigged model. However, since SM is a place of learning, it would be a good starting point for some of you to get your work out there.

I hope you intend on giving the model maker a finished video containing their work for their demo reel? Yes?

Hello!

its not 100 - 200 $ but rather 100 - 200 - ... that means something like infinte user added image depending on the model qualitiy. i wouldn´t pay 500 $ for a low-poly real-time model user added image

i now found a larger model archive (www.turbosquid.com). there are nice models, but sometimes i just don´t like their faces.

i need a model with nice shape and detailed hand and toes / foot - face should be nice but doesn´t have to be too detailed. full rigged means only some bones to make a wake-cycle - don´t need any facial expressions.

EDIT: Well, considering there is no more time to loose ... i would take a rather low-poly one to, like that one for exampel:
